Palestine Intrenational Medical Aid (PIMA) is a registerd charity that was setup in response to the growing medical needs of the Palestinian people within the Palestinian territories, and that of surrounding refugee camps outside of Palestine.

Health does not refer to an absence of infirmity; rather it incorporates a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing. Health issues are “fundamental to the attainment of peace and security and is dependent upon the fullest co-operation of individuals and States. The enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of health is one of the fundamental rights of every human being without distinction of race, religion, political belief, economic or social condition.” (WHO constitution)
Pima aims to support the Palestinian people by providing a health service that is able to serve the civilian population. PIMA aims to build a sustainable medical project; one which will allow the Palestinian people to build their own knowledge, as well as providing a medical services in accordance to the specific needs of the community.
